Elm Tree Chardonnay 2010

External Review by Prestige Wine & Spirits:

Lots of citrus and pineapple flavors with a crisp and easy finish. Good fruit for the money and a wine that is versatile allowing it to be served alone with a few crackers topped with soft cheese spreads and with chicken and seafood dishes as well.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

A "tweener" style Chardonnay; not particularly oaky, but with a gentler profile than the usual crisp, unoaked styles. Gentle melon and pear flavors are found in this smooth tasting wine.

Soft and buttery upfront, with lots of citrus and pineapple flavors and a crisp, easy finish. Good fruit for the money. A versatile wine you can serve with crackers topped with soft cheese spreads, and with chicken and seafood dishes as well.
