Elk Cove Vineyards is one of Oregon's oldest and most respected wine producers. Founded in 1974, by Pat and Joe Campbell, our focus has always been to produce hand crafted, Estate grown wines that can rival the best in the world. Estate Vineyards Estate vineyards now cover over 180 acres on four separate sites in the Northern Willamette Valley. Steep south facing slopes, of Willakenzie and Laurelwood soil types with excellent drainage, provide the perfect environment to grow the world class wine grapes that are the basis for creating Elk Cove wines. Proper site selection and meticulous vine management along with harvesting at very low yields creates the concentration and depth of flavor that are hallmarks of Elk Cove wines. Family Owned and Operated Elk Cove Vineyards proudly remains a family owned and operated winery. Winemaker Adam Godlee Campbell joined forces with his parents in 1995 to produce outstanding Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Growing up among the vines on the Elk Cove Estate has instilled a tremendous respect for the soil in which the grapes were grown, therefore his role as winemaker is one of stewardship over intervention. In the winery Adam employs gravity flow and gentle handling to protect the inherent qualities of the Estate grown fruit. We at Elk Cove hope you enjoy these wines as much as we all enjoyed the creative process in making them. Read less

This is an elegant, refreshing style, scented with a lush nose that cleverly blends cut fruit, blossom, citrus and a hint of mineral. The mixed fruit flavors continue on the palate - pear, melon, peach and spice, perfectly balanced and ripe.

This is a fruit-powered wine, loaded with fresh pear, melon and tropical flavors. It shows no sign of having suffered from the wet, cool weather that hit Oregon during the 2007 harvest. It seems riper than the perfectly balanced '06 bottling, with lower acids and a streak of vanilla and coconut wrapping up the finish.

Lively, with pineapple and summer squash aromas and flavors that are unusual but pleasant. Drink now.

Lithe, supple and immensely appealing for its creamy texture and almond-scented pear and peach flavors. It all lingers beautifully, too. Drink now.

Light and fragrant, this is juicy with pear, apple and lime flavors, hinting at almond flowers on the finish. Drink now through 2012.

Oregon's 2005 vintage was wet and cool, which led to some vivid, well-structured white wines like this lithe, supple Pinot Gris. Founded by Pat and Joe Campbell in 1974, Elk Cove currently farms 120 acres on three different sites. Son Adam Godlee Campbell is now the winemaker.
