RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Food Pairings for Elizabeth Spencer Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford
Tried this at the tasting room in Napa Valley in August 2009. It was the best value for a Howell Mountain Cabernet I have found anywhere. Has all of the concentrated mountain grown flavor you would expect from a Howell Mtn. Cab. Well balanced, loads of black fruit flavors, no handicaps. At $75 a bottle, it's a steal for a wine from this area.

Intensives Granat-Rubin.
Small hillside vineyards from Pritchard Hill, Rutherford and Calistoga produced excellent small berries but very low yields and as a result our 2006 Napa Cabernet production is lower than any prior vintage. The flagship of our Fall release wines fires on all cylinders and delivers a winning balance of handling and performance. Complex aromas of toffee, mocha and ripe black plums are threaded with cedary oak spice and a hint of sweet tobacco. Brooding black fruits are concentrated, forming a serious yet sumptuous core palate framed with soft, velvety tannins that deliver a long chocolaty finish. 1,100 cases produced.
