Elena Walch Müller-Thurgau Vigneti Delle Dolomiti IGT 2007
Crisp mineral nose with a faint sulfur quality. Moderate-to-high acidity in the mouth with a light body and notes of green peppers and grass. Bizarre almost nonexistent finish. Well made but a little weak overall for me.Add winemaker's notes
Crisp mineral nose with a faint sulfur quality. Moderate-to-high acidity in the mouth with a light body and notes of green peppers and grass. Bizarre almost nonexistent finish. Well made but a little weak overall for me.
Crisp linens, fresh flowers, clean air on the nose; it's a modest little cottage, freshly prepped for guests. Citrus-and-flint notes throughout, twisty acidity on the finish.
The nose is fairly powerful, very floral, with peach and green apple. The grannie smith comes across stronger on the mouth, with strong acidity. A mineral edge helps fill out the body, but it could use something else, a butteriness or hint of oak would have been nice. I would give a 3.5 for aroma and 2 for mouth.
