- Lush and silky cherry, blackberry, toasted oak, and nutmeg run wild here. The finish will knock your socks off. Awfully good now, but this baby will cellar beautifully for the next six or seven years.

- Full, deep ruby. Exotic wood spices, tar, plum, blackberry, black cherry and licorice on the nose. Sweet and dense in the mouth, but given verve by pungent minerality and firm acidity. Strong element of tarry oak. A powerfully structured wine with noteworthy extract. Finishes with pungent oak notes, good grip and very good length. Showing riper and more harmonious than a sample tasted a year ago.
