- WS 87 (9/2005): Ripe and distinctly cedary, with a minty edge to the dark, dense, chewy cherry and spice flavors, persisting on the firm finish. Best after 2006. 6,500 cases made.

- IWC 88+ (10/2005): Deep red. Expressive nose of bitter cherry, fruitcake, plum and spicy oak. Refreshingly brisk in the mouth, with a strong, minerally red berry character. Finishes youthfully taut, with a hint of raw beef.

- Color: Extremely dark rich plum. Nose: Sweet plumy fruit, oak and vanilla. Palate: Fresh liquorice pepper berry and vanillin oak with a lengthy dark chocolate finish Alcohol: 14.5% by volume Ageing: Cellar up to 15 years.
