Elderton Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Member Review by penguinoid:

Nose: blackcurrant, cassis, spice, cedar, sour cherry. Initially with beautiful earthy and leathery notes that gradually fade. Palate: quite rich and elegant, with blackcurrant, cassis, spice, sour cherry. Again, with an initial rich earthiness/leatheriness. Smooth, structured, elegant tannins provide backbone, as does some moderate, fresh acid. A very good, easy-drinking Cabernet Sauvignon.
