Editorial Reviews for El Coto Rioja Rosado Rose
Super intense on the nose with masses of red apple, peach and blueberry aromas. Bright and juicy if barely medium bodied in the mouth, this delivers plenty of orchard fruits supported by bright, pithy citrus flavored acidity and accented with a touch of minerality and a suggestion of sage. There's a nice aromatic peachiness here that pops on the backend along with a little candied edge on the modest finish. 86pts
Made from equal parts Garnacha (Grenache) and Tempranillo, El Coto's rosado (rose) displays a lively pink color, with hints of strawberry and red fruits on the nose. On the palate, it is well balanced and juicy, with refreshing acidity. Ideal as an aperetif, or with lighter fare.
