I am familiar with the 2006 Sauvignon Blanc and would put in the category of a fine New Zealand SB. Like most people, when I originally think of wines I think of sugary rieslings. I was greatly surprised by the craftsmanship of this wine. It wasn't overly sugary, it wasn't overly dry, and it wasn't overly earthy. Only wish I could find a bottle in the US.
