A Riesling wine from Mosel Saar Ruwer in Germany. 2011 Egon Muller Riesling Kabinett Scharzhofberger 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

Because of the northerly location of the Mosel region in Germany, the Rieslings produced here are usually lighter bodied and lower in alchohol (often only 7% to 9%), with crisp acidity. "Apple blossom, nut oil and sweet herbs on the nose. Supple apricot pit flavor on the palate, with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. The elegant finish shows persistent slatey minerality. This sumptuous kabinett is one of the finest of the vintage".- Stephen Tanzer
