Add your reviewThe wine opened nicely from an aromatic standpoint. Very light for a Cabernet. Slightly tannic on the finish....which changed after some time being opened. A decent wine but it lacked structure and character. Not bad at all....but I wouldn't run back for a bottle anytime soon. Cheers!
Bouquet is a good mix of strawberry, current and blackberry with a hint of pepper.On the palate, this was a tale of two wines. I started on this before dinner and finished it after dinner. Both times, there was a predominate edge of green apple like acidity which overpowered all other features. With barbecued baby back ribs, this was a totally different wine with lots of depth, good fruitiness and a very healthy peppery/spicy finish. Medium bodied, with a moderate finish.
Needed to breathe in my glass for 10-15 minutes, but wow. Plums and almost a taste of cranberry. Excellent wine.
