Pale golden in color, with a refreshing lychee and melon nose with a hint of sweetness. Palate is dry with a sharp funky character -- fruity on the attack but becoming almost vegetal in character with some oak. This is an interesting wine with a broad range of flavors and smells.

OK, thats a funky wine - like Chenin Blanc mixed with Sauv Blanc, turns out its Viognier and Roussanne. Very oily and mineral. Thick mouthfeel, spicy and lemongrass on the finish.
