Edmunds St. John:
We have little taste for most of the wines of the New World and Australia; however, we greatly admire some of those produced by the "second generation" of California vintners, ... above all, those of the astonishing Steve Edmunds; his wines do more than express the particular personality of the vintner and have entered the arena of those that are an expression of the land and culture.

Strawberries and a slight meatiness on the nose. The wine is crisp and robust enough to stand up to a gammon ham. finishes on sour raspberries. Its a nice, fruity, summer wine.

Eric Asimov's Times review: Fresh and dry with lively, lingering fruit and mineral flavors.

A fresh, vibrant rosé made from 100% Gamay grapes. This shows flavors of wild strawberries and undertones of smoke: to us, it smells exactly like summer. Practicing Organic.
