Edition Maximilian Riesling Spätlese 2007

Member Review by Philip James:

Lightly floral nose - nice acidity and peach notes. Fairly sweet, and comes over as rounded as a result. Certainly very off-dry. Real wet pebble taste - nice

Sweet balance. Honey/pear flavors....Recommended to break white zin habit. Can stand alone, with dessert, or fruit. great wine for price tag.

Sweet with a nice apple taste. Apricot finish on the palate.

closest year I could find on this piece of shit web site. 2009 is sweet, as one would suspect, but well tempered with just enough dryness. I like it. Not a value pick up, but not expensive either.

This pale yellow wine has a subtle, yet fragrant, floral aroma. Similarly its taste is rather mellow, consisting mostly of sweet honey, pear, and lemon zest which end in a fruity finish. Best served on its own or with fruit, sorbet, and spicy foods.
