Eco.love Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Winemakers Notes Bouquet: Very interesting bouquet, quite complex with grassy notes, lemon and lime with plenty of tropical fruit. A slight salty, mineral note show’s up from our 17 Valley vineyard on the ocean. Palate: This wine has direct entry onto the palate with a great mouth feel. Great weight and length lead to a nice show of complexity. Overall this is a very attractive serious wine.
Fresh lemon peel. tastes so pure and untouched. I really enjoyed this.
Great wine for the price ... reminds me of being back in New Zealand. Noise of tobacco leaf and white fruit. Great acidity, with citrus flavors and nice long finish. Nice balanced wine with low alcohol. YUMMY
I was first intrigued and excited by the philosophy and commitment of the McBride sisters to their ecological commitment. But would the wine be more than an ecological experiment? The verdict- this wine is outstanding! It is crisp, clean and beautifully balanced! It has complexity to the palate. Quite elegant with driven by its minerality and natural fruit quality especially lemon and lime. Great finish not overpowering! Bravo to the McBrides for their commitment to wine making and our planet!!
strong & powerful, love it... = )
