Echeverria Classic Collection Sauvignon Blanc 2013

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

Saline and basic citrus aromas feed into a fresh, light-bodied palate with citrus, lettuce and minerally flavors. A modest, firm finish is light but clean. This epitomizes the good qualities of value-priced Chilean SB.

I have fallen in LOVE with the reds out of this vineyard in the Cohchugua Valley of Chile. Their fresh, distinctive quality and absolute definitive & distinctive freshness, purity, and adherence to the grape varietal flavor is beyond phenomenal. What I love even more is that for the price points on these wines, you are getting better taste & quality for your dollar; definitely NOT overpaying for wine- you are UNDERPAYING for the quality of the syrah, carmenere, and cabernet. I have the best description of their med-heavy reds - DECADENT VELVET WITH ABSOLUTE PERFECTED PURITY & DINSTINCTIVE FRESHNESS. TRY THEIR WINES! THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE PRICE UNDER $20 for young vintages- and the quality increases yearly uncorked! THESE ARE BEYOND BEST BUYS! THESE ARE BEST EVERS! Read less

A perennial favorite. Zesty grapefruit and green pepper notes; erxcellent acidity and refreshing finish. Never a disappointment.

This is mild and lightly citric smelling, with an ocean spray note on the bouquet. On the palate, it is fresh and deep, with a note of nectarine. The finish is solid, but loses some fruit and gains some bitterness.

This vintage is bright and racy, with flavors of pear, lemon and grapefruit. Minerality notes, lively acidity and green grassy elements balance the wine nicely. It finishes long with a touch of lemon zest. A favorite wine with oysters, it pairs well with most all seafood.
