Bright ruby red with purple hues. Intense aromas of strawberries, blackberries and cherries, blend smoothly with notes of coffee and tabacco. Round and silky on the palate, it has a fulfilling mouthful and a delicious and persistent finish.
The flavors in this Chilean Cabernet flash between red and purple fruit flavors, not unlike the way a ray of sunshine hits a suncatcher. Every sip uncovers a different nuance of flavor; a hint of mint provides focus.
Having visited the vineyard this year, I was able to appreciate the amount of care that is taken to produce this wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon. The family has been making wine for generations, and the love of the wines they produce really shows through in the quality. This wine is deep crimson in color with aromas of cocoa and dark berries. Upon tasting, flavors of ripe plums and blueberries evolve with a touch of cassis and sweet spice. With lots of body, the wine is has a nice balance of tannins and smooth layers of fruit and spice. Serve with grilled beef kabobs and garlic roasted potatoes.
