Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio Venezie IGT 2009
Another one from the Wine Flight tasting. Not much here, but again served too warm. Light floral and fruit, low acidity and 'thin'.
Very faint nose. I could not detect any scents. For the price it was a good crisp, light-bodied wine that went well with the lasagna.
Four and a half glasses
Tart with citrus and apple notes. Complemented fried chicken well.
Very dry with a hint of apple and scents of pear. Used it to create ossobucco and turned out fantastic. Good drinking and cooking wine.
The worst ecco domani I have ever tasted

Our Ecco Domani delle Venezie IGT Pinot Grigio has delicate citrus and floral aromas with tropical fruit flavors and a crisp, refreshing finish. - WineryViticulture NotesIn 2013, delle Venezie had a challenging growing season. Weather conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto were cooler than usual throughout the summer. Fortunately, we harvested our Pinot Grigio fruit before the autumn rains arrived. The cooler growing season allowed us to craft a wine with more intense fruit aromas and a fresher acidity. Winemaking NotesThe grapes for this wine were gently crushed and pressed, and the juice was allowed to cold settle prior to fermentation in upright stainless steel tanks for three weeks at an average temperature of 64°F. The wine was aged sur lie for two months and then on light lees until bottling to preserve a clean and full mouthfeel.Titratable Acidity: 0.58g/100mlpH: 3.38Alcohol Level: 12.5%Residual Sugar: .70g/100ml

This wine has a clear, straw yellow color, with light golden reflections. A low concentration of mature grapes gives the wine tropical fruit notes that make the vintage truly unique. The wine possesses pleasant floral and tropical fruit aromas, and has a light, crisp, clean and refreshing flavor, with fruit character and refined elegance. Wine maker notes wine was made in bianco or in the white, referring to the vinification process that transforms the blue-gray colored berries into delicate white wine. A soft pressing was employed to enhance flavor extraction while deriving minimal color from the skins. Fermentation was temperature controlled between 68-72°F. A selection of specific yeast was used for inoculation. To intensify the tropical characteristics of the wine, late harvest Pinot Grigio grapes were vinified and added. The wine was left to settle and was then cold stabilized, filtered and bottled under cold, sterile conditions Technical notes Varietal Content: 100% Pinot Grigio Appellation: delle Venezie Alcohol: 12.3% Residual sugar: .35g/100 ml Total acidity: .58g/100 ml pH: 3.2 Food pairing This wine goes well with seafood, especially salmon and sea bass, poultry, pasta dishes with vegetables, and sauces with fresh herbs such as basil, dill and tarragon.
A pleasant Pinot Grigio. Fresh apple and spices on the nose. Medium-bodied, with light acidity and a mineral, spicy finish.
Clean, crisp Pinoit Grigio with hints of fig and orange; medium-bodied with good acid balance; moderate to long finish.
