Probably one of the worst wines I've ever had. The only worse one I had was a Cabernet from a bar where the bottle was probably open for weeks but I was desperate for red wine rather than beer or liquor.

This was the wine that started it all for me, so I may be a bit biased. I love this wine when I need some of my daily stress taken out of me fast. What a great wine to pair with a bowl of pasta with freshly cut tomatoes, onions, chili peppers, red peppers, kosher salt and parsley. This wine has a nice deep red color tint to it. Most say it has a smooth taste, but I find this wine to be very bold and it simply waters my mouth. Personally I think is a great wine for the price.

Dark ruby core with a pink and orange rim. Milk chocolate and smokey aromas over red cherry and raspberry. Soft entry in the mouth. Easy drinking red cherry with an earthy mineral finish. Mike Supple. A Merlot wine from Veneto in Italy. 2003 Ecco Domani Merlot Delle Venezie 750ml
Ecco Domani 2009 Merlot displays a deep purple-red color tinged with ruby red reflections. It expresses ripe cherry aromas and plush blackberry flavors. It is balanced and soft on the palate, with supporting structure and a clean, elegant finish. Our Merlot is a perfect match for a wide range of foods, particularly tomato-based pasta dishes, poultry and grilled meats.
