Eben Sadie Columella Swartland 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

"Eben has blended 80% Syrah 20% Mourvedre from four different Swartlandmountain soils (granite, clay, gravel, slate), vinifying the fruit for 6 wks in20 hl open wooden fermenters before ageing the wine for 24 months in Bordeauxbarrels. Such was the tricky dry vintage that a severe sorting of Eben's 7hectares was required to ensure the best fruit, yielding a tiny quantity (16hl/ha) of wine blessed with both power freshness. Cellar till 2015."<br/>(David Berry Green-BBR Buyer)

Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
