The winery is a family operation helmed brother and sister duo Larry and Helen Turley, founded in 1993. Their prestigious wines are in constantly high demand, and their private wine club has a two-year waiting list. The wines are produced from several vineyards, with vines dating back to the 1800s. Each terroir lends its own character to the wines, and they are given separate labels according to location each vintage. The vineyards are located in Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Lodi, Howell Mountain and Contra Costa.  Read less
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Great balance, silky, very long finish. I liked this one better than the 2007. Only quibble is the winemaker was a bit too heavy handed with the oak. Phenomenal bottle of wine for the price.

Very nice Zin. Comes close to 14 Hands Cabernet. Soft oak finish; currant & blackberry notes. Michael & David Lodi winery on hwy 12 (used to be Phillips Farms). We enjoyed a few glasses with Bruscetta while sitting outside the Cellar Door on historic School Street. A little pricey at $25.00 a bottle, but good.

I loved the thick texture. Very fruity and deep. A fantastic wine with lots of flavor and body.

Liked it just a little better than the Petit Petite; agree that it was very deep with a lot of body. Great for the price.
