- I am excited to present our first bottling, a 1998 Estate Sauvignon Blanc, an initial offering that demonstrates the promise of Napas fastest-growing viticultural area, Pope Valley. My goal as a winemaker is to capture all the secrets of great wine, accessing all of the senses, most particularly the sense of touch through mouthfeel, texture, weight and finish. Without all five senses being fully captivated, can a wine be considered complete?
