The fully mature 1986 La Turque has a bouquet of smoke, new saddle leather, roasted herbs, meat, and sweet, jammy black fruit. Medium- to full-bodied, ripe, and intense, without the colossal richness of the finest vintages, this still youthful wine should continue to age well.

Kräftige rote Farbe, glanzklar. Nase von schwarzen Beeren mit würzigen Noten. Vollmundiger, rassiger Wein mit runden, eingebundenen Taninen. Ein Wein mit Fülle und intensiven Aromen.
Ein ausgewogener, nachhaltiger, fruchtiger und recht gehaltvoller Rotwein. Granatrot. Mittelkräftiges, recht komplexes Bouquet. Vorab Beerenfrüchte, dann Steinobst (Kirsche, Zwetschge) und etwas Dörrfrucht (Rosine). Dazu kommen leicht pflanzliche Noten (Efeu, Tee), etwas Röstaromen und leichte Erdigkeit. Im Gaumen trocken. Sehr weiche, füllige und harmonische Struktur. In der Rückaromatik wiederum viel Frucht. Mittellanger Abgang.

The 2000 Cote-Rotie La Mouline, while lighter than the previous three vintages, possesses a deep ruby color in addition to a sweet perfume of white flowers, licorice, caramel, black raspberries, and currants. It is a medium-bodied, compactly built La Mouline with good fruit, low acidity, and an up-front, forward charm. It should drink well for 8–12 years. Drink 2003–2015.
Terrific combination of the best of both worlds in Cote-Rotie andmdash; the ripe, powerful raspberry and blackberry fruit and coffee and cocoa notes, along with the sauvage, alluring games, mineral and spice flavors. Both camps work hand-in-hand here, and take turns in extending the amazingly long finish. Best from 2006 through 2030.
