Duval-Leroy Champagne Blend Champagne Brut NV
Bright golden toast hue with constantly streaming pinpoint bubbles, and aromas of baked apple-pear tarts with a kiss of citrus; rich flavor notes of biscuits and dried pear dancing over a almost never-ending finish. Great sparkling value!
WD: Duval Leroy Fleur de Champagne Brut NV: 80% C, 20% PN, a blend of twenty crus from Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. An obvious lemon sherbet nose. Full, very fresh palate, with firm acidity. A rather sharp mousse, whic fades quickly. Will improve in the short term. Good. 16+/20.
Good value for money champers, not particularly distinctive though
Really enjoyed this wine, but not sure the pretty bottle is worth the extra price.
Fairly singular, but absolutely delicious brut champagne that won't kill your wallet.
Three and a half glasses

Much drier than many non-vintage Champagnes, this is full of crisp grapefruit flavors, lively green fruits, and a touch of bready yeast. It is a deliciously fresh wine, dancing across the palate.
A big, full-bodied bubbly, featuring graphite, toast, lemon and nut aromas and flavors. Balanced, with an assertive finish. Will improve with a few months of cellaring. Drink now through 2009.
A beautiful bubbly. Firm, dry and intensely flavored, offering candied berry, vanilla pastry, honey and hazelnut notes wrapped in an elegant frame. It releases the flavors in a well-defined, appealing manner. Fine length and aftertaste. Drink now through 2998.
An elegant wine, with a delicate grain and subtle, citrusy acidity. Offers flavors of yellow apple, clementine and licorice snap, with hints of marzipan and coconut and a fresh, creamy finish. Drink now through 2018.
A moussy, creamy, fresh and light Champagne, with velvet apples and cream character. There is a touch of citrus, but this so-fruity wine is lively and instantly delicious.
Apple and bread dough flavors mark this Champagne, which shows a touch of honey. Medium-bodied, with moderate length. Tails off a little on the finish. Drink now.
Rich and gingery, yet with a firm structure, settling into citrus, toast and hazelnut flavors. I like the balance and expression in this solid, well-integrated wine. Drink now.
