This stuff is fantastic. I love Shiraz and this is like a super concentrated shiraz for sipping as a dessert wine. But turns out if you have a bottle of shiraz thats been open too long you can add a drop of this to the glass and VOILA- good wine. Also dynamite for making my syrah-blueberry sauce topping for lemon cheesecake

The most intriguing of these fortifieds is the non-vintage Sun Dried Shiraz, which is fashioned from Shiraz grapes that have been allowed to raisin for three years (similar to a Vin de Paille). It boasts a dense blue/purple color, huge raisiny, floral, scorched earth, and blackberry notes, and a port-like viscosity and intensity. This is stunning stuff, but I have no idea how it will evolve in the bottle.
