Durigutti Red Blend Familia 2006
Winemakers: Hctor and Pablo Durigutti. Native yeast fermentation. Aged in new American oak for 12 months. Unfined and unfiltered. Lush nose laced with black-berry and plum fruit. Soft yet focused on the palate, with additional flavors of strawberry and wild herbs. Medium tannins and balanced acidity. A terrific everyday drinker!

Jammy, berry fruit. Very firm tannins that come across a bit green in my opinion. Medium to full body. The alcohol was a little hot in this wine, especially on the nose.
Did not like this - it finished last in our Malbec tasting. Don't bother with this one!
I've had this one for a bit, brought it up from the cellar to have with a casual meal. You can taste and smell the blackberry all over this...the finish is just a hint of strawberry and sage. I'll probably keep a bottle for a few more years. The alchohol has definitely mellowed so its not a factor.
