External Reviews for Dunham Cellars White Blend Walla Walla Valley Four Legged White
This gold medal winning riesling (87% Riesling, 13% Chardonnay) comes to us from Dunham Cellars. The winery is located in a rustic, remodelled World War II era airplane hanger in Washington State. The winemaker, Eric Dunham, believes that wine grapes should be treated gently. This means that first the grapes undergo an extended cold soak, then gentle crushing, and even gentler pressing. Enjoy this multi-award winning riesling.
"A wonderfully richyet refreshing mouth with apples, pineapple and pear notes with mangoriding along... Left with a little bit of residual sugar, this winemakes a perfect complement to foods with spice." Winery Notes"Dunham Cellars makes a small amount of white wine, the best of which isthe 2006 Four-Legged White, a blend of 87% Riesling and 13% Chardonnay.Light straw-colored, it exhibits an attractive tangerine/orange andfloral perfume in its off-dry personality. Crisp, with plenty of ripefruit and a long finish, this is an ideal wine for summer sipping."89 pointsJay Miller, Wine Advocate # 172, Aug 2007
