Dumol Viognier Russian River Valley Lia 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Pale gold color. Great aromatic richness and varietal purity: peach, apricot, honeyed citrus and quince. The palate follows the aromatic theme with explosively rich fruit of tremendous depth and concentration, layers of texture and breadth, all supported by intense acidity to a zesty vibrant finish. Shows uncommon richness and length for this varietal. As with all our whites, serve at no cooler than 52 degrees to allow full flavor development. Best consumed within four years of release.

... The 2008 Viognier Lia is barrel-fermented and aged 11 months on its lees, with around 15% new oak utilized, and goes through 100% malolactic. It is one of the few California Viogniers that exhibits minerality and focus. Not a standard bubble gum/... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. A Viognier wine from California in USA. 2008 Dumol Viognier Lia 750ml
