Dumol Pinot Noir Green Valley Ryan 2005
Deep ruby red. Great aromatic complexity with truffles, fresh earth, thyme and kirsch. Bright red fruit and darker wild berry flavors lead to roasted meat and anise notes. Great inner-mouth energy and vibrancy with supple, elegant tannins and a touch of orange peel on the long spicy back end. Approachable on release, our 2005 RRV Pinot bottling should provide great drinking pleasure for up to eight years with good cellaring. Serve between 58 and 62 degrees to ensure full flavor development.
Our 25 acre biodynamically farmed Estate Vineyard is located on an undulating eastfacing slope of one of the appellation's famous ridgelines. From this classic site and in tandem with some of our coastal area's finest growers, we craft wines that fully capture the aromatics, flavors and textures that exemplify their vineyard sites and varietals character in the purest and most precise form.

The 2005 Pinot Noir Ryan displays terrific black cherry fruit in the nose, a deep ruby color, hints of forest floor, Chinese black tea, and some floral notes. The wine has fabulous fruit, medium to full body, and serious length. Its delicacy and complexity are reminiscent of a grand cru from the Cote de Nuits. This is stunning Pinot Noir that should drink nicely for 7-8 years.

Bright red color. Spicy perfumed bouquet of raspberry cherry smoky bacon and mocha. Fleshy red fruit flavors coat the palate taking on a juicy spicy character with air. Admirably balanced and pure with excellent finishing sweetness and persistence. This pinot delivers striking the clarity and vivacity. Stephen Tanzers IWC.
