This dark ruby/purple-tinged, medium-bodied, elegant effort offers sweet fruit as well as ripe tannins. Give it 1-3 years of bottle age and drink it over the following 14 -15

Das Fazit zu Beginn: Château Branaire ist ein exzellenter Saint-Julien, der mit einem interessanten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis die GeniesserInnen immer wieder von neuem überrascht. Klassisch, ganz klar Bordeaux, Kenner würden auf Pauillac tippen, so präsentiert sich dieses Gewächs im Bouquet. Im Gaumen dann aber unverkennbar Saint-Julien: Die Samtigkeit, die Eleganz und die Harmonie zwischen der Säure- und der Tanninstruktur lassen keine Zweifel offen. Im überzeugenden Finale ein Schmeichler par excellence. Was will Mann oder Frau mehr?
