Light straw yellow color. Crisp, medium body with a refreshing mouthfell. Slightly dry with touches of citrus fruit and hints of mineral and herb. Nice lasting finish.

Cool, varietally precise aromas of gooseberry, lemon peel and peppermint oil. Pure flavors of citrus skin, gooseberry and mint; supple and creamy-ripe, with lovely fruit and sweetness. Initially seemed to fade on the back end, but showed more grip and persistence with aeration. lacks the sheer intensity for outstanding, but very nicely made.

Pale green-tinged color. Shy aromas of orange zest, lemon thyme, mint and dusty stone. Supple and rather broad in the mouth, with a waxy suggestion of Sèmillon. Not quite as crisp and convincing as this wine usually is. Could use a bit more flavor definition and grip, not to mention concentration. Rather lean on the finish, but not short.

Very pale color. Highly aromatic, somewhat viognier-like aromas of flowers, mint and stone. Floral and intensely flavored, with perfumed flavors of poached pear and tangerine nicely framed by fresh acids. Concentrated and persistent.

Here's a tangy, mouthwatering white dishing up a harmonious blend of grapefruit, melon, lemon, lime and herb flavors. Bright in style, it finishes fresh, clean and long, with a slight mineral accent. Drink now through 2002.

The exuberant, flinty, melon, and peach-scented 2004 Sauvignon Blanc's striking aromatics and fruit-driven flavors suggest this lusty Sauvignon, which included some residual sugar, should be enjoyed over the next year.

This tight, lively sauvignon has cellar scents of earth and white mushrooms to balance its simple, grapey fruit. Chill it for sole stuffed with crab meat.
