Crisp and delicately structured, with a clean, brisk mouthfeel, this wine packs a flavor punch. Essence of lemony lime, sweet green grass, vanilla and rich honey lead to a long, fruity, spicy finish. One of the better SB's lately.

Marked by a sweet-and-sour edge, with very good concentration to a candied quince, melon, grapefruit and honey character, accented by nicely integrated vanilla-scented oak, giving it a soft mouthfeel. Drink now.

Pale color. Reticent, metallic nose hints at vitamin C and a waxy, semillon-like quality. Supple and moderately concentrated, with hints of baby aspirin and lemon. A bit blowzy and lacking in grip. Not bad, but not up to the quality of the best vintages of this bottling.

Ripe and generous, with excellent intensity to melon, yellow apple and marshmallow tones, highlighted by nicely integrated lemon tanginess. Drink now.

The long spiciness of this wine seems to come from both the lees of the grape skins and resinous oak. It's tight and austere, with wheat cake flavors. Age should bring it in line for a cheese soufflé.

Aromas of lemon-lime and light vanilla-scented oak give this a complex flavor and the texture is smooth and polished. Drink now.

Supple and harmonious with refreshing acidity. Handles the juicy citrus, fig and melon flavors with finesse, showing a real mastery of the variety.

Winemaker's Notes:

This enticing Sauvignon Blanc offers a beautiful combination of freshness and complexity. The aromas are rich and layered with elements of pineapple, guava, peach and lemon zest. On the palate, the entry is crisp and inviting with good acidity supporting flavors of lemon meringue, grapefruit, pear and flint. The addition of Sémillon accentuates the wine’s tropical notes with subtle oak adding nuance and dimension.
