A nutty character complements the hints of honeysuckle quite nicely. The slight crisp sweetness rounds out the finish very well.

Good acidity, nose has tropical fruit. Good acidity to the wine. Addition of semillion rounds out this wine nicely. Long finish but not that sharp crisp Sauvignon Blanc I am used to.

Just released, this SB is very pale in color. Its got a floral, softly sweet nose. Surprisingly low acid on the attack, some peach and floral flavors. Nice, but its got too much residual sugar for me, I was expecting something racier. Sweet mineral finish. Overall a nice wine, but not the grassy, racy sort, so steer clear if thats your style.

Wine Enthusiast ReviewRated 90Duckhorn has been remarkably consistent with this bottling, although the price has crept up the last few years. The '07 is right up there, a sweetly oaked, leesy wine whose citrus and lemongrass flavors are fattened up with the pears and figs of Smillon. The finish is quite dry and rich.Wine Tasting NotesThis lush and inviting Sauvignon Blanc combines a rich, creamy mouthfeel with bright acidity and a long, refreshing finish. The aroma brings together appealing elements of Meyer lemon, grapefruit, orange blossom and peach nectar, with hints of honeysuckle and graham crackers. On the palate, tropical flavors of pineapple and mango are complemented by layers of citrus, peach and ginger spice.

A delicious, fruit-driven, medium-bodied wine offering copious quantities of melons, figs and spice, with good acidity and a dry finish.
