This is an immense, deeply concentrated, richly flavored wine that's quite tannic at this stage, balancing the currant, plum and berry flavors that persist through the finish. An outstanding Merlot that works its way into complex and interesting flavors, turning up hints of cherry, currant, anise and cedar. Finishes with a firmly tannic edge, but nothing out-of-bounds. Can cellar into 1998 or '99. A blend: 82 percent Merlo... Wine Spectator. A Merlot wine from California in USA. 1994 Duckhorn Merlot 750ml
