Duckhorn Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Monitor Ledge Vineyard 2006

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

Smoky and earthy up front on the nose, like charred forest floor. Dark berry compote and sweet tannin. Strong, cabernet frac-like backbone. Spice and acidity lead the palate and ripe currant, strawberry boysenberry come through with a hint of coconut on the finish. - Tasted at winery 4/18/10
