Duchessa Lia is a wine produced by a family of grape-growers and vintners in the Piedmont region of Italy. The wines are made in a range of styles that can be found throughout the region, including Barbaresco, Barbera, Barolo, Dolcetto, Freisa, Grignolino, Gavi, Moscato d’Asti, Prosecco, and other sparkling and sweet wines.
Smooth texture. Good with all kind of desserts.
Had a similar wine in northern Italy, finally found something equally good and easy to find locally. Found it in Fresh Market in The Villages, but will look for it in SAM's club. Delisciouly refreshing for light sweet wine lovers. Crisp, light, with light fizz. If you are a sweet champagne lover this will be your new love!
I found this at The Fresh Market in Sarasota, Florida.
Everyone I serve this to loves it, and we always have bottles on hand. So good, crisp, sweet.
The most wonderful, sweet white wine I´ve ever had, just not very easy to get a bottle in northern europe :(
