Duca Enrico 1997

Member Review by vespatime:

We purchased this wine back in 2000 during our time in Sicilia, and opened it tonight with a pairing of organic beef. Color: Initial brick-red to orange-tinge. Bouqet: a fruity nose of berry and licorice. Taste: Extremely well-balance and light; a superb nero that one would not recognize. Cherry is predominant flavor with prolonged finish. This 97 reminds me of the of overall 100 point vintage for Brunellos and Italy overall. My only regret is that I only purchased one bottle.
