90 points David Schildknecht (Wine Advocate): The 2009 Cote de Brouilly Domaine de Riaz (owned and run by the same brothers as Chateau de la Perriere) smells intriguingly of smoky black tea, smoked meat, and ocean breeze, along with fresh blackberry and mulberry that go on to silkenly and satisfyingly sooth yet also refresh the palate. Crushed stone and black tea accent the lingering finish of a wine I would not hesitate to follow for 3-4 years. (Aug 2010)
