Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Winemaker's Notes:

The nose offers a perfumed bouquet of ripe citrus fruit characters, overlaid by floral aromas. On the palate, Drylands Riesling exhibits crisp, ripe flavours of grapefruit and lime with a honeysuckle complexity. The palate shows good weight and balance, lingering in a refreshing finish. A structure of elegant, lively acidity is offset by a hint of residual sugar.
