Dry River Chardonnay 2009

External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:

The 2009 Chardonnay has ripe apple and apricot aromas with nuances of toast cashews orange blossom and a whiff of honey comb. Very crisp on the medium bodied palate there's plenty of taut fruit and some silkiness to the texture with a long minerally finish. Approachable now it should drink best 2012 to 2018. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown Robert Parkers Wine Advocate.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
