This shows big, plump fruit on the nose, with lots of syrupy, liquory berry fruit, a touch of thorny stem and a little rubber. Big black fruit flavors fill the opulent and broad mouth feel with noticeably sweet fruit here. I even get a little of the lychee quality from very ripe/over ripe fruit. The tannins are big and wooly in the mouth and still seem a bit dry. Powerful, dark steeped tea notes dominate the finish along with a sweet, lightly dried fruit finale. 88pts
