Type: Icewine Comments: Pradikatswein - wines made from Weissburgunder (Pinot blanc) and Silvaner grapes of Beerenauslese ripeness; harvested and pressed while frozen. Taste: Truely unique wines with a remarkable concentration of fruity acidity and sweetness. Recommendation: Typically served with rich, intensely flawored foods/ dishes, especially those which are particularly oily/ fatty, salty, sweet and/ or pungent in flawor; fresh fruit pies, cheesecake w/fruit, sharp/ rich cheeses, goose liver pate w/truffles. Delightful by itself.
