Previously not commonly seen outside Austria Grüner Veltliner is beginning to make a new home for itself in the similarly cool climate of the Finger Lakes and who better to pioneer such an obscure varietal than Dr. Frank the winery that brought Riesling to New York. With razor-sharp acidity and bold citrus fruits this vibrant white is the “something different” for which all you Sauvignon Blanc drinkers have been looking.
