Spicy, with an almost crunchy edge to the bright acidity, which carries delicious apple, fig, almond and orange zest notes. Stays delineated and mouthwatering on the finish. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

There is a certain knack to making great Gewurz, and Dr. Frank has it. This '99 is brimming with a spicy citrus blossom and rose-petal bouquet. Off-dry and surprizingly full-bodied, the flavors unfold to reveal strawberry, gooseberry, ande lemon peel, with a suggestion of bitterness on the finish. This is an excellent example of well-made Gewurz.
