A light ruby color in the glass and giving off aromas of Black cherry, undergrowth, pipe smoke and walnut with noticeable heat. On the palate it's rich and sumptuous but not overly sweet with cherry cough syrup, sage, and cedar box. Long, long finish.

Perfumed and gorgeous, with flowers, berry and plum. Full-bodied, very sweet and round, with lovely rich fruit and a long finish. A tiny bit of heat, but will come around nicely. Very pretty indeed. Hard not to swallow now. '91/'92 Port retrospective... Wine Spectator. A Port wine from Douro in Portugal. 1991 Dow Vintage Port 750ml

One of the great buys in young vintages of Dow. Dark and powerful, its aromas of ripe berry, cherry and raspberry open to a full-bodied palate, with firm tannins and a long, sweet finish.--Dow vertical. Best after 2005. 6,500 cases made. (JS) Wine Spectator. A Port wine from Douro in Portugal. 1991 Dow Vintage Port 750ml
