Douglas Green Estate the Beach House 2008

Member Review by parirami:

[2008] It will remind you of the sweet smell of the sea in the morning. Easy drinking, no agressive notes that will surprise you - which is best for appetizers. It's a very slow but consistent morphing of fruity flavors, doesn't linger much though. Very relaxing despite the short finish. Paired this with an entire vegetarian course, starting with a spinach-artichoke dip and progressing to salad greens and mushrooms. It's a great contrast for the cream and pasta, and completely complementary to roasted veggies (citrus, very subtle hints of berries) It should work well with fish and chicken as well I would presume.
