Clustered around Riquewihr, the 27 hectare vineyard worked by Dopff & Irion is extremely well situated. The different types of soil and the varied climate means we are able to produce rich, powerful, complex wines.
The vintage I tasted was from 2009. Normally a pinot gris has a crisp taste. This wine was a bit too sweat for my taste.
