Dönnhoff Norheimer Dellchen Riesling Spätlese(2005)

The aromas are marine, citric and pungently redolent of tiny, concentrated fruits. Salty, briny minerality is lashed to a particularly juicy, succulent citrus and yellow plum and the entire palate is saturated with corresponding, intense minerals and fruit. The effect is glass clear but also glycerin-rich. The finish, too, stubbornly coats the palate with mineral salts, wet stone, pungent flintiness, deep meatiness, citrus and fruit pit notes, rather than concentrating itself into a focused point as was the case with the corresponding Felsenberg.
