Donelli Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro Amabile DOC NV
Hand-harvested at the end of September through a careful vineyard selection and immediately transferred to the cellar for pressing. Vinified in stainless steel tanks for 20 days at 15-18°C, the wine was then left on the skins for 4 days with periodic pump-overs taking place. The development of froth was an extremely slow process that came from a natural re-fermentation which took place in a pressure tank — this is known as the Charmat method.

Fine and persistent foam with violet hues, this wine is rich ruby red in color with garnet reflections, particularly along the rim. Fruity aromas of red berries intermingle with spicy notes. On the palate, persistent semi-sweet fruit flavors come through. It is nicely balanced by light tannins.
