Food Pairings for Doña Paula Merlot Tupungato Estate
External Reviews for Doña Paula Merlot Tupungato Estate
Smooth and round on the nose, with aromas of melon and honey. A bit soft but not flaccid, with a sweet, creamy flavor profile that blends apple and pear. Finishes light and clean, with a hint of vanilla.
Brilliant purply-violet color with fresh blackberry and violets on the nose. Syrup-slow legs on the glass, this Malbec enters the palate lush and ripe, with blueberry compote and toasted oak flavors.
Tasty, forward blackberry and grapey fruit flavors, with sweet spice and chocolate notes. Fresh, open finish. Drink now.
Full, bright red. Red berries, tobacco, mocha and wild herbs on the nose, with a lightly stewed note that reminded me of a wine from Mediterranean France. Then supple, juicy and reasonably fresh, with red berry and spice flavors showing modest complexity and delineation. Possesses decent sweetness and intensity.
