Don Luciano Syrah
The 2007 shows sweet, bright fruit up front over a medium body cut through with nice acidity and finishing with modest tannin. Good $3.97 table wine that paired pretty well with tacos al pastor del guero. :-)Add winemaker's notes
Don Luciano is a brand offshoot of J. Garciá-Carrión wines, produced in the Spanish provinces of La Mancha and Valdpeñas. The wines are produced using traditional local grapes such as Airén, Tempranillo (there called Cencibel) and Garnacha, as well as international varieties. The wines are available in blended and single varietal styles of white, red and rosado.
